About

Design goal

The app is crowded with content and functionalities and it needs a new content architecture and navigation.

Simplicity

The app is identical to the tablet & desktop format. We need to evolve it to deliver a better experience suited for each device.

Touchpoint

We need to achieve the omnichannel plan, with particular reference to the «one app» model and the increase in NPS.

White Label

In this project new content such as the Assistance page, the Customer History page, the Documents page and the Services page had to be designed and implemented.

The Sitemap below organizes the order of these pages and the relations between them.

Since simplifying the navigation and interaction was one of the clients’ main goals, the UX saw multiple versions and tests*. After 4 months we found a combination of new features and elements that matched perfectly the users’ and clients’ needs, and it that was as intuitive as it could be.

Besides redesigning the user experience of the app, the client also needed new pages featuring different sections of the business: Services, Tracking, Assistance, Documents, Customer History, Claims, Payments and Requests.

The visual design for all pages follows the characteristics of the brand, creating a look and feel to match the vibrant and bright colors and pop images.

Final product

On of the client’s requirement in designing the app was to make sure that it was accessible and followed The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). It was crucial to ensure that all users don’t encounter any barriers when browsing the app.

Accessibility

For each page of the app we designed:

  • Two views: portrait and landscape. In such way we provided a more comfortable browsing experience for those who prefer one orientation of the screen to another.

  • Two modes: light and dark. Having both options on the application makes a difference, because not only many people like the dark look, but in a low-light environments this mode reduces eye strain and helps you get quality sleep.
